The development of Mutant Brush into the fabrication phase has involved the production of multiple prototypes, ending in two functional nodes.
The team decided, after all to use the simple triangular node to be the one used for the installation at plaza Santa Ana, and to exhibit the other one as part of the process.
The idea of this project is to use small format machines [like the 900 x 600 laser cutter we used] to create bigger structures using standard pieces. In this case we laser cut the nodes in MDF 3mm and used broomsticks [so Halloween!].
